Helophilus Fly? - Helophilus fasciatus - female

Helophilus Fly? - Helophilus fasciatus - Female
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
November 15, 2010
Size: unrecorded
This is the first I have seen this type of fly. Found in oak tree. Helophilus is the closest I could get. These are not at all common around this area to my knowledge, although from what I gather, they ought to be.
