Habitat

Prefers dry, open areas with oak leaf litter, especally at ecotones of forest and meadow.

Food

Omnivorous.

Life Cycle

Eggs overwinter; nymphs hatch out in spring (March-April), mature by mid-July, and may survive until frost.
