For Size These must be a Wilcoxia n.sp. There are actually several new spp. known from New Mexico, and this looks like one Greg Forbes found near Las Cruces (though I haven't seen the female of his). from Eric part.

Wilcoxia, n. sp.
Yes, this is one of two new species of Wilcoxia that we'll be describing as part of our revision of this little group of little robber flies. This one is known primarily from around Las Cruces in Dona Ana County
