Identification
Fourth segment of fore tarsus white, slightly enlarged.
Range
In 1857 Loew described a species from Rhodes that was quickly determined to be identical to the species Wiedemann described from America in 1830. Osten Sacken speculated that it was carried from port to port on ships.
