Two named North American species.

Range

Guttipelopia guttipennis is widespread in North America and Europe. Guttipelopia rosenbergi is less common; it is known from Manitoba and Ontario.

Habitat

"Larvae are most often found in sphagnum bogs, ditches, ponds and lakes, but may occur in streams on the [southeast] Coastal Plain."(1)
