Too small for Chalcophora (among other things) - this is some sp. of Chrysobothris. Joshua can probably get further.

Chrysobothris species
Looks like a match; very similar to
Tom's photo
although his lacks green feet. Imaged moved to genus page for now.

I think this specimen is a ma
I think this specimen is a male, it looks to have a hairy face. Males usually are more colorful than the females so that may be why this one has green legs. Tom's photo is of a female. You can see a ridge on the last top abdominal segment and that is a character of females. In the C. femorata complex, that ridge can be used to differentiate species. The ridge can stick out past end, or the area around it can be shallow or deep.
Too many species that look the similar.

I can only say this is most likely a Chrysobothris in the femorata complex. There are several Chrysobothris that look similar to Chrysobothris femorata. It probably is C. femorata, but without seeing genetalia or any other characters this is the best I can do on this specimen.
