Soldierfly? larva from Florida canal
Rotonda Canal, Charlotte County, Florida, USA
December 1, 2010
Captured along the vegetated margin of a canal in the vicinity of the Rotonda development. Tentatively pegged as a larva of one of the aquatic stratiomyidae, not yet narrowed further.
