Location implies it should be M. oregonensis.
pale color implies perhaps it should be a nymph (but adults are rarely over 4 mm long, usually closer to 3 mm). M. manni is supposed to be pale, but it is "supposed" to be east of the Sierras.

 
Size - on tiny cricket
That size is very estimated. All I remember is that it was under 5 mm. So that can be anywhere from 1-4.5 mm.

I had no idea what it was when I found it. I thought it must be a young cricket of some kind. In 7 years of looking for bugs this is the first time I've seen one.
