Dichomeris furia has a somewhat differently shaped black marking on the forewing that touches the inner margin, in laetitia it does not touch. D. furia also has a more contrasting bluish sub-terminal area. The sub-terminal area in laetitia is light gray and hardly contrasts with the rest of the wing (Hugh McGuinness).
