western sculptured pine borer
This beautiful beetle flew into us whilst holidaying in Menorca. August 2015. I have read the details of this bug but, is it usually found on this island? And if so, is this a big problem as there are many beautiful stone pines here?

Yes - Chalcophora angulicollis
The info page says it is the only species in it's genus in the west. A common beetle down here where I live in the summer.
