Blister Beetle, Zonitis sp. ? - Zonitis sayi

Blister Beetle, Zonitis sp. ? - Zonitis sayi
Moraine Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, 8100 feet elevation, Rocky Mountain National Park County, Colorado, USA
July 26, 2010
on Mountain Gumweed, Grindelia subalpina, they were common on this plant

In RMNP it would be Z. sayi
which is very common in Colorado. Z. dunniana is more southern. I suspect the published record from Boulder, may have been an unusual specimen of Z. sayi, or an accidental introduction (??).
