Separated from similar species in its range by the following characters:
Two elytral costae evident
Pronotal vittae do not have a pair of spots along the inner margin (as in E. facula), and usually do not reach the hind margin of the pronotum
Range
Found along the west coast from southern British Columbia to northern California.(1)
