I think this is Hypera sp. (Hyperinae),
but similar example below too can be Hyperinae but Phytonomus sp.
Sorry, I am not giant in US fauna |-(( - correctly - zero, but I know all common most genus Russian weevils :0))

Weevil or snout beetle?
It looks to me like something in the Curculionoidea: those have the antennae fused with the "snout". I think the "elbow" in the antennae and the clubbed ends should narrow it down to Curculionidae. Here's one example:

Since I'm already out on thin ice, I might as well throw in a further guess: Subfamily Entiminae - Broad-nosed Weevils


There are more knowledgable people around here who should be able to give you much more reliable and detailed information (I just know what I read here).

For some reason I never got into keying the Weevils, but clearly their just too large a group to pass up. Thanks for the lead on the subfamily.
