Unknown beetle 1 - Rhizophagus sculpturatus

Unknown beetle 1 - Rhizophagus sculpturatus
Evergreen State College, 7 km NW Olympia, Thurston County, Washington, USA
October 10, 2008
This beetle was collected in a malaise trap set in coniferous forest (dominated by Pseudotsuga menziesii, Thuja plicata subdominat, Abies grandis low density).

I have been unable to ID this beetle for too long (since it was collected in 2008), all help is appreciated.

Imaged with Automontage, montaged with Automontage Syncroscopy software.

thanks you so much again, guys -- nice addition!
Moved from Rhizophagus.

Rhizophagus sculpturatus
Sorry it took me so long, but I'm pretty confident in R. sculpturatus.

Not R. brunneus
This little guy is not R. brunneus. The antennal club is not withdrawn into itself, appearing truncated. I'll be putting up a R. brunneus brunneus soon and I can show you what I mean. I can try to narrow it down more later, but I know we can eliminate that subgenus.

Moved from ID Request.

Reminds me of the Monotomidae

Rhizophagus sp.
probably many species to choose from in WA

do you have Bousquet's 1990 Rhizophagus review?
the beast should be keyable from what we see here; i can exclude 3 spp., but have no clue what the remaining four look like

Thank you both, Belov and Gruber. After I received your genus dets, I referred to Hatch for further determination. I came to R. brunneus, but I am uncomfortable applying the name to the specimen as I do not have the 1990 review.
