Numbers

19 spp. in 5 genera in our area(1); globally, the most diverse aradid subfamily, with >1120 described spp. in 124 genera(2)

Range

worldwide, most diverse in the tropical regions of the Southern Hemisphere, with only a few taxa in the Holarctic(2); in our area more diverse towards the south, with just one sp. ranging into Canada(3)
