A Broad-winged Bush Katydid
This is one of the few species of the genus that is fairly easy to recognize without seeing the tip of the abdomen, because the wings are distinctly broader than in other species.

Whether they nymph you photographed is the same species is difficult to say, but it would seem likely.

Scudderia septentrionalis is similar (not quite as broad), but it shouldn't be found in your area.
