Large Spider - Argiope aurantia

Large Spider - Argiope aurantia
Tyler, Smith County, Texas, USA
August 10, 2007
Size: Body/Abdomen about 3/4"
The overall size would be about 1" to 1.5". It had a very large web and I was content to shoot from a distance.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Looks like
Black and Yellow Argiope (Argiope aurantia):

Nothing to fear, unless you are a small insect. :)

Thanks
