Identification

Adults - sexually dimorphic. Females well defined. Males pale, whitish ochreous, heavily irrorated with brownish fuscous; banding obsolescent, indistinct, pale ochreous spots (1)

Range

restricted to the coastal ranges of west-central California from Alameda County south to Los Angeles County (1)

Habitat

moist situations with Osmorhiza chilensis as understory in shrubby, well-shaded deciduous forest (1)
