burrower mayfly
Images similar to yours can be found at a few sites ( 1, 2, 3, 4 ) and some are identified as Hexagenia limbata but I don't know how reliable those IDs are. The family (Ephemeridae) is known as burrower or burrowing mayflies; adults can be up to 30 mm long.
