Nice I like these spiders because of the very interesting patterns on the females abdomen and the immatures. Glad you didn't get bitten! :)

 
...thought this was a NORTHERN Black Widow...
I found my immature female here in NC
...looks like the twin sister to this one.

 
They were very shy
all they wanted to do was to find a nice hiding place where I couldn't find it.
