asilid - Holopogon

asilid - Holopogon
Canal Flats, British Columbia, Canada
June 16, 2009
very small for an asilid

Moved
Moved from Robber Flies.

The genus is Holopogon,
of which two species exist in your part of the world, H. albipilosus and H. stellatus. I have no idea which it is, although the white hairs on it suggest albipilosus would be a logical name for it.
