Spider Beetle - Ptinus fur

Spider Beetle - Ptinus fur
Chester, Plumas County, California, USA
December 26, 2010
Size: 4mm
This beetle appears to be a genus Ptinus spider beetle; and possibly Species Ptinus fur - the Whitemarked Spider Beetle - (a female ?). Even after being chilled it still was always on the move. I took many photos just to get the first three images. Day two photo session provided the last two even better photos. The thorax seems to have the "crown" of golden hairs on the pronotum mentioned here (1) for Ptinus fur. Any confirmation on species ID would be very much appreciated!
