Seems to match some of the images of this Phycitine Pyralid moth. In particular, compare to Tom Murray's photo which appears on BG here or on his PBase webpage here. The ground color of your critter differs notably from Tom's but the pattern is ~ identical. Among these innumerable Phycitines, V. broweri was the closest I could find. Yours was apparently taken in the same general region at the same season (mid-July).
