Size: 1/4 inch
On Wild Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum) in my front yard. I found its posture a bit odd, and it doesn't seem to have its face in a flower.

Certainly looks like Allograpta
Posture is odd, based on what I've seen and Guide photos. However, there are some shots showing a slightly downcurved fly.
