Males of the species (and species group) have black femora.
Identification
Distinguished from other members of the Condylostylus caudatus group by the combination: dense row of curved bristles on mid basitarsus; tarsi not otherwise modified (hind tarsi not swolled, mid tarsi not elongated); tail hairs not especially long.
