Autumn Meadowhawk - Sympetrum vicinum - male

Autumn Meadowhawk - Sympetrum vicinum - Male
Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, New York, USA
October 10, 2009
It was sunning itself on a quince. ID help appreciated.

Thanks, J&J.
Moved from Dragonflies.

Just the date alone is enough
to make us say Sympetrum vicinum, but the body without much black and the yellow legs support that. Looks to be male.
