Crab Spider - female

Crab Spider - Female
Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, USA
August 2, 2004
Could this be Misumena vatia - Goldenrod Crab Spider, or Misumenoides formosipes - Whitebanded Crab Spider? I'm having a hard time telling these two species apart, even with the excellent descriptions on the info pages.

Moved
Moved from Crab Spiders.

Possible misumessus
I have a spider that looks just like this, immature. Can we move this to "possible misumessus" for now?

Not Misumenoides,
Leaning toward Mecaphesa, but possibly Misumena, can't be certain

Thanks
For ruling out Misumenoides. I know this is a poor image, and we probably won't be able to get a definite id, but I really appreciate all of your help!
