Numbers
Approximately 24 genera are included within this tribe, but many authors reduce the number by combining many. Only two occur in the Americas. Five genera (not either of ours) are often separated as a tribe Neptini, but the distinction is weak. There are two other tribes, the Adoliadini and Parthenini found in the Old World tropics.
