Panorpa nuptialis congregated on bone - Panorpa nuptialis - Male Female

Size: ca 2cm
This past fall featured a great many of these scorpion flies locally. Apparently, they like to suck on bones and are, thus, direct competitors with pet dogs. So if you are interested in attracting these flies, bones are recommended.
