Spotted Cucumber Beetle - Diabrotica undecimpunctata

Spotted Cucumber Beetle - Diabrotica undecimpunctata
Medford, Jackson County, Oregon, USA
April 17, 2006

Moved
Moved from Diabrotica.

Yes
You are right and you can go ahead and move it to the correct page: Diabrotica undecipunctata. We don't have one from Oregon so this is nice.

Wait a second.
I know the western cucumber beetle used to be a different species. Not sure if this is currently the case, but it would be wise to check before moving the image. Thank you.

Good point
My google search shows Diabrotica virgifera as the Western species, and it is striped rather than spotted Invasive species.
Anyway, I think that it is safe to move it to the genus page until we are completely sure.

Image has been moved
Thanks for telling me how to move the image. I have put it in the genus Diabrotica for now. Thanks also for the help with the ID.

Move...
I don't know how to move images. You'll have to help me with that. :)

Click the Tag link under your photo.
That will cause a thumbnail of your photo to appear in the upper left corner of your bugguide window. Then click on the Diabrotica undecipunctata link in the comment above (or find it by typing it, or copying/pasting it, into the search box). When you get there, be sure the Images tab on that page is clicked and, because you have tagged your photo, there will be a Move Tagged Images link at the upper left of this page. Click on that link and you're done!
