Thanks Ken for the ID. The insect illustrated in Bugguide and my photo looks very smiliar and they both are from South Texas. Thanks for your expertise and the time you put into this.

make me think of
Mozena lunata
:
Don't know if that's a diagnostic feature, though. The experts will be able to say for sure.
