Glyphonyx? - Aeolus trilineatus

Glyphonyx? - Aeolus trilineatus
El Franco Lee Park, Harris County, Texas, USA
January 8, 2011
Size: 4.5 mm

Moved
Moved from Click Beetles.

I think it is safe to move here for the time being. The genus Aeolus was recently been revised by one of Paul Johnson's students (pending publication). Once that publication is out, we will be able to sort the Aeolus better.

Do you collect your specimens? Your images are very good, and having voucher-ID'd specimens from your images would be helpful to BugGuide and the scientific community in general.

Thanks
I usually keep the specimens for a day or so, or longer if I think they are anything special. I think I'll start saving my unidentified click beetles from now on though.

Thanks
Much appreciated :)

somethig near Aeolus trilineatus, i suppose
