Small Mite

Size: 0.5 mm
This mite was in leaf litter under composting bags of leaves. It was following this tiny springtail (Megalothorax minimus) around.

My name is Marina and I´m a doctor in Entomology/Acarology.

I work on a biological control company in Brazil. We are developing an e-book about biological control using predatory mites. For illustrating this e-book I would like to use photographs of all predatory mite`s families. Since I never collected any Ascidae species, I would like to use one of the images you uploaded on BugGuide.com (Photo#484121).

The e-book will be available freely for all interested people, including producers and students.
