Huge swarm of these down by the Susquehanna River bank at night. They are able to fold their wings (see below), but they sure look like mayflies rather than stoneflies or somesuch. Can they be IDed to species or genus?

I'm no expert on adult mayflies, but I'm pretty certain these are Ephoron leukon.

thank you! They were so abundant I would have expected pages & pages of them on BugGuide -- but I guess there's a big difference between abundance within a swarm and abundance of swarms. :-)
