Numbers
A single species is known for a group largely distributed in the Neotropics.
Identification
Confused with Onichodon and Fornax. The group can be separated from those genera based on its very wide lateral antennal grooves.
Range
Known from Southern Mexico and parts of Central America, the species is also present in south-central United States and Cuba.
Habitat
Largely found in forested areas.
Season
Mid April through the middle of August.
Remarks
Sexual dimorphism exists for the group. Males have pectinate antennae. Females have strongly serrate antennae.
