This seems to be the typical color morph of the populations here in the Sierra Nevadas.

possibly Moselia zonata instead?
A recent journal article indicates that Californian Moselia specimens (and those from Nevada and the extreme southern portion of Oregon) are in a newly defined species, M. zonata.
