Larvae feeding above the water line. In the evening and in the early morning, I would find larvae by the dozens or hundreds climbing riparian vegetation as high as 25-30 cm to feed. Nearly all vegetation showed signs of damage. I also had larvae crawling into pan light traps set out on rocks or logs in the stream.
