Citheronia splendens sinaloensis - Citheronia splendens
Miller Canyon, Huachuca Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
Size: Length 6 mm.
Newly emerged larva eating eggshell. Larva length 6 mm. A clutch of eggs was obtained from a wild female and reared indoors on wild cotton August to September, 2010.
