BG3186 E6208 - Tetragnatha elongata - female

BG3186 E6208 - Tetragnatha elongata - Female
Barney Farm, Highway 103, 1.0 mi. NW Washington, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA
August 22, 2009
Size: body length 12.8 mm.
We believe this spider to be a female in the genus Tetragnatha. It was collected from a small potted rosebush at the edge of a pond. The chelicerae appear to be longer than the carapace and the lateral eyes are closer together than the median eyes. These features would be consistent with T. elongata. This male was collected from the same bush at the same time and is possibly the same species.
Placement would be appreciated.

Kudos!
Of course, I'm partial to these sorts of shots (as opposed to those "in nature"), with the neutral background that so perfectly reveals structure and proportion, but these really are super photos -- nicely handled in all respects, from cropping to framing, orientation, lighting, image adjustments, etc.

Thank you
Many thanks for your kind words and confirmation of the ID.
