Truquiella sp.

Truquiella and Hapalips are very similar, except in sexual dimorphism. This is obviously Truquiella. Males of Hapalips do not have the expanded pronotum, but instead have a small tooth on the tip of the apical abdominal ventrite. Thus, I can only make an assuption that the associated female is the same. I think this genus is known from the US, but not yet reported. Good find. Looks like we'd better find an actual Hapalips to put on BugGuide!
