a dead specimen - the legs are folded under it, which is why it isn't obviously a leafhopper

I'm really want Dr. Hamilton to get a look at this one, and I know this is one of the places he checks regularly. Moved just to be safe.

Interesting...

The closest match I found was to the introduced European species Evacanthus interruptus. According to Andy Hamilton, it has been found in Newfoundland. See comment here.

I'll be interest to see what Dr. Hamilton thinks.

It must be rare in my region, this is the only specimen I have seen yet.
