Waved Light Fly - Pyrgota undata

Waved Light Fly - Pyrgota undata
Maringouin, Iberville Parish, Louisiana, USA
April 18, 2006
Under night light at boat house on Atchafalaya River. Didn't seem interested in stinging.

Fly!
Not a bad image of a unique fly in the family Pyrgotidae. Moving to guide page where you can read about its astonishing behavior and life cycle. I know, the suspense is killing you:-)

The suspense is unbearable. Thank you very much,
I posted the image, turned away for a couple of minutes and it left. I thought I had lost it for sure. I frass'd the second image. Thanks again.

Suggestion
I always try to check Recent after I upload to see how it came out. It also helps catch typos and other errors

You're welcome:-)
Hope you will continue posting!
