possibly a Lambdina sp.? maybe Lambdina fiscellaria? observed in coastal spruce-fir forest (white spruce and balsam fir).

Moved from ID Request. Lambdina certainly looks good, but we're not sure how to separate them to species. Being in Balsam Fir and Spruce does sound like fiscellaria, though.
