Pisaurina brevipes

Pretty sure this is Pisaurina mira (Nursery Web Spider)

Moved
Moved from Nursery Web Spider.

P. brevipes instead
Those submarginal bands of light color along the sides of the body are indicative of Pisaurina brevipes rather than P. mira. Almost went ahead and moved it but wanted to see what you thought. You probably already have this free PDF download, but pg 328 if not:http://www.esc-sec.ca/aafcmonographs/insects_and_arachnids_part_17.pdf

Ah!
So is this one OK. "if distinct, having lateral margins sinuous" seems correct.

That one looks correct
I bet we'd all be surprised what we'd find if we had genitalia exams on all these, lol... but according to the literature, yup, this must be P. mira and the one with the straight sides is P. brevipes. Seems like such a slight difference between these two specimens of yours, though, which makes me wonder... In others, it's a pretty obvious difference, but not so much here.

Probably
should save one to put under a scope.
