Octotemnus - male - female

Octotemnus - Male Female
Middleburg, Clay County, Florida, USA
January 29, 2011
Size: 2.4mm, 1.8mm, 4.3mm
Found in a 36cm bracket fungi. The adults were det.J.E.Cronin, 2011, the larvae (3) were
in the same small cavity within the fungi as two pair of adult Octotemnus. It is of course
possible that it is not their larvae as it does not have the two posterior hooks that are
apparently common to Ciidae. If the larvae does not match for the genus, I will reshoot
just the two adults.

Moved
Moved from Octotemnus.

We need to rear a few sets I have a couple of containers that we could use.
