Cosmopterigidae - larva in stem - Walshia amorphella
Red Oak Prairie, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA

Size: 7 mm
Collected swollen stems of Lead plant, Amorpha canescens.
Cut open a stem to photograph the larva. (But then I couldn't rear it having disturbed its shelter and food.)
So I don't know for sure that this is Walshia amorphella

Moved from Walshia. Found this pair of images on the Walshia page, appears to be W. amorphella based on host plant.
