Aquatic Leaf Beetle - Plateumaris
Near Westwood, Lassen County, California, USA
Size: Body length 7.5mm
Perhaps genus Plateumaris? or Donacia?
I collected several of these beetles in the early 1990's. They varied in color from bright green, to bronze like this specimen, to a maroon color. Confirmation to correct genus would be appreciated - Thanks!
