Collection site is rural/agricultural. I've found other cosmo. pests, such as Sitophilus zeamais and Anthrenus verbasci.

I was wondering about Palorius, but if I am interpreting the key correctly, Palorus should have the eye entirely beneath the canthus. This specimen has the eye partially divided by the canthus. It seems to key better towards Latheticus, but doesn't really match any images I've found. Somewhat resembles Corticeus, but apices of elytra are not truncate.
