Moved
Moved from Piezogaster alternatus. Piezogaster alternatus is a synonym of P. calcarator (O'Shea 1980). As far as I know, Dealy's work was never published. Also, I believe that the recent cataloge of Coreidae (Pakauskas 2010) keeps P. alternatus as a synonym.

thanks guys!

Or how about...
Piezogaster alternatus (Say), female. This would be a new species for bg but not at all surprising; Virginia is in the middle of this species' distribution. It would be more surprising if it were P. calcarator, as P. calcarator's range is more southern. Besides, P. calcarator is not as dark and lacks the broad white markings on the abdominal margin.
