Smiley Face

Smiley Face "assassin" - Stiretrus anchorago
Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, Harris County, Texas, USA
November 10, 2010
Size: 1/4 inch long
This bug was busily carrying the Monarch caterpillar down the Milkweed plant disappearing into the ground leaves. There were many Monarch caterpillars on the plant which seems to be an annual favorite for the Monarch.
